About Nail Cutters
A nail clipper (also known as a nail trimmer, a nail cutter, or a nipper type) is a hand tool that is used to cut fingernails, toenails, and hangnails. The most common material for nail clippers is stainless steel, but they can also be constructed of plastic or aluminum. The plier type and the compound lever type are two common types. Many nail clippers come with a small file attached to them, which allows users to file the rough edges of the nails. A nail catcher is sometimes included with nail clippers. The head of the nail clipper can be concave or convex. Toenail clippers with convex clipping ends are for toenails, whereas fingernail clippers with concave clipping ends are for fingernails.
