Market Snapshot:
An E-Field Generator is a device that generates an electric field. The generator has two metal plates that are close to each other. When the generator is turned on, it creates an electric field between the two plates. This electric field can be used to power devices or charge batteries. E-field generator is a type of antenna that converts radio frequency power from a power amplifier into Electromagnetic waves. It generates the required electric field strength (V/m) in accordance with the EMC radiated immunity/emission testing standards. During the EMC immunity test, E-field generators are used to generate the required field strength over a wide frequency range in an anechoic chamber or open area test site (OATS). Electric Field Generators are used to convert RF power into an electromagnetic field, or E-Field. This is most commonly used during EMC testing, where a Power Amplifier is connected to an E-Field Generator to generate an E-Field that can be used for EMC Immision Testing. E-Field Generators are coils of electric conductors, typically copper wire that are tightly wound onto a metal core and mounted to rotate inside a large magnet exhibi

Market Developments Activities:
On 6 April 2022 GenNx360 Capital Partners GenServe Acquisition with OK Generators. GenServe is the largest independent provider of scheduled and emergency power generator maintenance, repair, and sales in the North Atlantic region, with a significant presence in Texas and Florida, primarily serving commercial customers in a variety of industries. The acquisition of OK Generators significantly strengthens our presence in the South Florida market. We are thrilled to welcome their team to the GenServe family and accelerate our growth. We are also pleased to announce that Bob Birdsong, a former EGSA instructor and industry fixture, will be joining GenServe
In 2021 AR Launches New Generation of Field Probes. AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation introduces the FL8000 Series of electric field probes covering the frequency range of 5 kHz to 60 GHz. EMC testing in a lab, from automotive and commercial to military and aviation applications, frequently requires measuring different types of electric fields, which may necessitate multiple field probes. The FL8000 Series field probes are specifically designed to assist customers in meeting industry standards and simplifying their setup; they provide a three-in-one solution capable of measuring continuous-wave, pulsed, and modulated electric fields
Regulatory Insights:
An electrical generator coupled to a prime mover within a power station, along with all equipment at the power station that is specifically related to the operation of that turbo-generator, falls under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and General Network Access to the inter-State Transmission System) Regulations, 2022 for all generating stations other than solar, wind, and hybrid stations.
