About Paprika Oleoresin
Paprika oleoresin is a red-orange oil-soluble extract from the fruits of Capsicum annum or Capsicum Frutescence. It is primarily used as a coloring and flavoring in food products. It is insoluble in water whilst being readily soluble in vegetable oil and it is made dispersible in water by the addition of polysorbate. It has applications in cheese sauces, sausages, gravies, salad dressings, snacks, baked goods, icings, cereals and meat products.
