On 30th September 2020, Craft Brew Alliance and Anheuser-Busch InBev jointly announced the closing of a month-long merger process and formally consummated a deal that’s been years in the making. This expanded partnership marks a continuation of Anheuser-Busch's long track record of working with its craft partners and its distribution network to help make the U.S. beer category stronger and more diverse by bringing premium craft products to consumers across the country.
"In a relief for craft breweries, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has deferred the implementation of yeast content parameters for beer. The regulator had earlier decided to limit the maximum yeast count in draught beer to 40 CFU (colony-forming units) and had said that regular beer or lager beer should be free of yeast. Craft brewers had expressed difficulties in the implementation of these limits."
