About LTE Advanced Pro
LTE Advanced Pro (LTE-A Pro) refers to the 3GPP release. It is the next generation of the cellular standard after LTE A. LTE-A Pro offers improvements in a variety of areas. Via a higher level of carrier aggregation and Licensed-Assisted Access, it implements Gigabit LTE with speeds up to 2 Gbps (LAA). It also contains data on LTE IoT and upgrades. LTE-A Pro enhances broadcast for a variety of applications. It extends the scope of cellular technologies to new locations, such as Cellular V2X (vehicle to everything), which offers a significant improvement in safety and is becoming a necessary component of autonomous driving. LTE-A Pro was created with the aim of not only improving the current network but also preparing for the rollout of 5G in the coming years. The key goal of LTE-A Pro is to boost the existing data rates and bandwidth required for mobile communications. The data rates would be three times higher than LTE-A.
