An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a filtration device that removes fine dust and smoke particles from gas stream. This electrostatic precipitator (ESP) devices use the force which is induced by electrostatic charge. Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) uses electrical energy to charge dust and smoke particles. The electrically charged dust or smoke particles are accumulated on the electrode by an electrical field. This participator are designed for air pollution control as it mainly removes particles from waste gases. It is mainly used at petrochemical industrial facilities and power-generating stations. This electrostatic participator require to control particulate size and to control particulate matter emissions.
