Car Tailpipe Market Scope
The car tailpipe is the end part of the overall car exhaust system, made out of stainless steel or aluminized steel tubing for the purpose of releasing exhaust gases away from the vehicle and into the air. Aluminized steel has better corrosion resistance than plain steel but not better than stainless steel. It is, however, cheaper than stainless steel. The tailpipe often ends with just a straight or angled cut, but may include a fancy tip. The tailpipe is often larger in diameter than the rest of the exhaust system. This produces a final reduction in exhaust pressure and is sometimes used to enhance the appearance of the vehicle.
The Car Tailpipe market study is segmented by Type (Single Tailpipe Type and Double Tailpipes Type), by Application (OEM and Aftermarket) and major geographies with country level break-up.

Market Leaders and their expansionary development strategies
On October 1, 2018, Tenneco completed the acquisition of Federal-Mogul, a leading global supplier to original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. In mid-2020, the company expects to separate its businesses to form two new, independent companies, an Aftermarket and Ride Performance company as well as a new Powertrain Technology company.
On January 15, 2020, The Indian joint venture of Eberspaecher Exhaust Technology International GmbH and Sharda Motor Industries Ltd. opened its new production plant in Pune, India. The joint venture aims to develop, produce and sell exhaust systems for commercial vehicles meeting the emission standards of Bharat Stage VI and therefore contributing to air purification in India.
International exhaust-emission standards such as Euro 6, EPA 10 or Tier 4 interim demand increasingly more efficient hazardous substance systems in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and in the non-road sector.
