About Thermal Paper
The thermal paper is manufactured by the specialty Bisphenol A (BPA) coating that provides inkless printing. On the heating of the coating on thermal paper, a clear image or print is formed without any requirement of inks or ribbons. This BPA coating on the paper turns black on heating resulting in the image on the paper, this paper is the key component of thermal printing and is considered one of the economical printing technologies which low energy and requires low maintenance cost. BPA is also one of the most widely researched substances on the market and has been used extensively in commerce for 50 years – even among workers exposed to significantly higher levels than the general public.
