About Kitchen Faucets
A kitchen faucet is a device for delivering water from a plumbing system, allows a user to turn the flow of water on and off. It is the whole mechanism for monitoring the flow of water. It can consist of several components such as handles, spout, cartridge, lift rod, aerator, mixing chamber, and water inlets. When the handle is turned on, the valve opens and regulates the water flow adjustment under any water or temperature condition. The body of the kitchen faucet is usually made up from brass, however, die-cast zinc, as well as chrome-plated plastics, are also used. Generally, residential faucets are single or dual-control cartridge faucets. Some single control varieties use a plastic or metal core that operates vertically.
