Benzenesulfonamide Market Scope
Benzenesulfonamide is an inhibitor of human carbonic anhydrase B. it is also called as Benzenesulphonamide, Benzosulfonamide, Phenyl sulphonamide and Benzene sulphonamide. It is particularly used to developed analytical method for simultaneous determination of benzotriazole, benzothiazole and benzenesulfonamide contaminants in environmental waters. Further it is inhibitor of human carbonic anhydrase. Benzenesulfonamide derivatives are effective in the treatment of proliferative diseases such as cancer. It has been isolated from the plant Prunus africana and it has shown to exhibit antiandrogenic activity. It is known as an environmental transformation product of Asulam as it changes radical structure of the asulam. It is act as a neurotoxin and a plant metabolite. It is used in the synthesis of dyes, photochemicals and disinfectants.
