CFL Light Bulbs Market Scope
Compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) are also known as compact fluorescent light bulbs. An electric current is passed through a glass tube containing argon and a trace amount of mercury vapour in a CFL. This produces invisible ultraviolet radiation, which activates a fluorescent coating (called phosphor) on the inside of the tube, causing it to emit visible light. The goal to lower electricity loads through the use of energy efficient lighting has resulted in a high level of interest in replacing traditional incandescent lights with Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL). CFLs, on the other hand, are a nonlinear load that introduces harmonics into the electrical network. Electronic ballasts are used in CFLs, and the design of these has a significant impact on the electrical performance of the CFL.
