About Deformed Rebar
Steel rebars are the most important product among the hot rolled steel products. They are used as reinforcement elements in Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) constructions for structural load-bearing. Rebars are used in combination with concrete to effectively bear the loads connected with tensile, bending and compression in all steel-reinforced concrete constructions. The steel rebar sizes and quantities used with concrete are as per the reinforcement specifications stipulated by the Reinforced Cement Concrete ìRCCî structural design. The steel rebars come in standard lengths of 12 meters in a range of sizes/diameters that suits the construction industry. The sizes of steel rebars produce by local producers are 10mm to 22 mm (in 2mm increments), 25 mm, 32mm and up to 40 mm.
