Stephania Extract is a Traditional Chinese Medicine herb that is sometimes combined with Herbal extract to indicate the quality of kidney protection and diabetes prevention. Stephania Extract is a Menispermaceae family herbaceous perennial vine native to China and Taiwan. It grows to a height of about three metres from a short, woody caudex. The leaves are peltate, meaning that the leaf root tip is attached near the centre of the leaf, and spirally arranged on the stem. Traditional Chinese medicine makes use of its root. It is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat myofascial pain caused by joint pain, wet beriberi, urinary, skin problems, and inflamed sores.
