A wall decal is a vinyl sticker that is attached to a wall or other smooth surface for decoration and information. Although most decals are one colour, others may have many images put on them. Simple little wall borders and cutouts to more complicated murals covering full walls are all possible using decals. Words, photos, and designs may be included. Although some reusable vinyl kinds are available, most vinyl decals are not reusable.They have a separate adhesive on the back, which allows for multiple repositionings before the glue wears out. Large vinyl stickers can be difficult to apply since they can break, stretch, and stick back together. Traditional decals are made of pvc plastic and cut with a vinyl cutter or laser cutter from a single colour. A full-color image can be printed on vinyl and then contour cut around it. Block cut vinyls are available in a variety of finishes, including glitter, metallic, and mirror appearance. They can also be cut to form and supplied with a blackboard or whiteboard finish to create a wall decal.
