Pulp Additives Market Scope
Pulp Additives work to increase the efficiency of the pulping process with cooking aids, green and white liquor clarification, pitch control, and lime mud control. Calcium carbonate can be added to pulp as an alkaline to lower the pH, and will make the resulting paper more opaque as it fills the spaces between the fibers. This can be desirable for digital or other printing processes. (See “For Beginners” in Hand Papermaking Newsletter #82 for more on making paper for digital printing.)
The Pulp Additives market study is segmented by Type (Binders, Bleaching Agents, Fillers, Pulping, Sizing and Others), by Application (Printing & Writing, Corrugating Materials, Tissue, Wrapping Paper and Others) and major geographies with country level break-up.
The rising number of players expected to enter the global market is predicted to enhance the competition level as well as encourage the growth of the overall market in the near future. Players are anticipated to focus on the development of new compounds, which is likely to encourage the growth of the global market throughout the forecast period.
BASF SE (Germany), Dow (United States), Solenis (United States), SEIKO PMC CORPORATION (Japan), Ashland (United States), Clariant (Switzerland), Ecolab (United States), Kemira (Finland), Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd (Japan), Harima Chemicals Group, Inc. (Japan) and Applied Chemicals International Group (Switzerland) are some of the key players that are part of study coverage.
About Approach
The research aims to propose a patent-based approach in searching for potential technology partners as a supporting tool for enabling open innovation. The study also proposes a systematic searching process of technology partners as a
preliminary step to select the emerging and key players that are involved in implementing market estimations. While patent analysis is employed to overcome the aforementioned data- and process-related limitations, as expenses occurred in that technology allows us to estimate the market size by evolving segments as target market from total available market.
