The microfluidic chip is the most active field and the limit of μTA. Compared to other research aspects on microfluidic chips, the work on sample pretreatment units is in the preliminary stage. In this study, a microfluidic device for DNA extraction by ImpetiCbead was designed and manufactured. The chip was used to extract DNA from human lymphocytes. The results showed that the extraction efficiency was essentially comparable to the method used in the ImpetiCbead kit. It could be integrated into a complex DNA analysis chip in the future. Immunomagnetic Separation (IMS) is a specific adsorption property of ImpetiCbead. It can be used in the isolation and identification of S. aureus. It was found that the capture rate of SA ImpetiCbead from target bacteria exceeded 80% when the density of the pure bacteria is 10-104 CFU / ml. The method can also be used to quickly identify and isolate bacteria. No bacterial reproduction process is required and its instrument is simple. However, IMS is expensive and prone to cross-reactions, so the detection must be supported by other technical methods.
