Dive boots are designed to be worn with open-heel dive fins, which feature an adjustable heel strap to carry the fin on the foot. Dive boots are constructed from Neoprene polychloroprene, an artificial rubber material popularly used for wetsuits. The boots may feature zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners or elastic tops to form putting them on easier. The sole of dive footwear are often soft, hard or without a sole.
