What is Resistance Spot Welding Machines Market?
A conventional spot welding equipment, complete with all of the necessary manual controls. The electrode jaws on these machines are expanded to allow a weld to be produced at a significant distance from the edge of the base metal sheet. The electrodes are made of a copper alloy and arranged in such a way that they can apply a lot of stress or pressure to the metal during the welding process. In the automotive sector, resistance spot welding is the most common form of joining, with each vehicle containing thousands of welds. Furthermore, resistance spot welding, whether used alone or in conjunction with other joining methods, such as adhesive joining or laser welding, accounts for more than 70% of all welding done in BIW applications.
The market study is being classified by Type (Series Welding, Multi-spot Welding and Pulsation-spot Welding), by Application (Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing,, Railways, Electronics and Semiconductors and Others) and major geographies with country level break-up.

On July 17th 2020 - Lincoln Electric Expands Its Ranger Welder Generator Line. Lincoln Electric introduces a new option to its versatile family of Ranger welder/generators with the new Ranger 260MPX welder/generator. This new machine delivers 260 amps in the industry-leading compact design that operators have enjoyed with the Ranger 330MPX welder/generator, which entered the market in 2019.
ISO 14373:2015 specifies requirements for resistance spot welding in the fabrication of assemblies of uncoated and metallic coated low carbon steel, comprising two or three sheets of metal, where the maximum single sheet thickness of components to be welded is within the range 0,4 mm to 3 mm, for the following materials: uncoated steels; hot-dip zinc or an iron-zinc alloy (galvannealed) coated steel; electrolytic zinc, zinc-iron, or zinc-nickel coated steel; aluminum-coated steel; zinc-aluminum coated steel. It is applicable to welding of sheets of the same or dissimilar thickness, where the thickness ratio is less than or equal to 3:1. It applies to the welding of three thicknesses, where the total thickness is less than or equal to 9 mm.
