Egg white powder is an egg white which has been spray dried. The spray drying involves spraying of the liquid egg whites into hot air within a dryer chamber. This process is same as the process used to make powdered milk. When the spray drying is completed, the egg white powder is pasteurized to get rid of microbial contamination. Earlier the process involved drying of egg whites and then grinding them to the powder. Moreover, the egg whites contain amino acids, which help to build lean muscle strength, and aid in muscle repair and recovery.
