The jellies are made with a base of konnyaku, a starchy plant native to Yunnan in southwest China that belongs to the same family as taro and yam. The jellies incorporate Taiwanese fruits including grapes, mangoes, lychees, passion fruits, apples and peaches, among others, and are available in six flavours.
In October 2023, Healthy snack company Dole has launched a new packaging redesign for it’s range of fruit jellies.
