On 6th June 2022, German home batteries maker Sonnen Group announced that it is set to acquire Spain’s Webatt Energia SL, a specialist in solar PV self-consumption and energy storage solutions. The acquisition comes after five years of history together which saw Webatt and Sonnen deliver energy storage projects in Spain’s residential and commercial market, the German firm said. Sonnen home batteries are also part of Webatt's offering.
